Rules of Engagement ((IC Resource))
Rules of Engagement:
Violation of the Servitors of Lothar Rules of Engagement will be punished with the harshest possible sentences allowable under Alliance law.
- You have the right to defend yourself against attacks or threats of attack that all present leadership believe will be acted upon.
- Hostile fire may be returned promptly and effectively to stop a hostile act.
- When Servitors are attacked by unarmed hostile elements, mobs, and/or rioters, they should use the minimum force necessary under the circumstances and proportional to the threat.
- You may not seize the property of others to accomplish your mission unless that property is the target of said mission.
- Persons who are outside of combat and those who are not taking part in hostilities in situation of armed conflict shall be protected in all circumstances.
- Detention of civilians is authorized only for security reasons or self-defense.
- Using protected persons as human shields and similar is forbidden.
- The wounded and the sick shall be cared for and protected. They shall not be harmed mentally, magically, or physically, and shall be given equal medical treatment.
- Surrendering combatants shall not be harmed.
- Unlawful combatants shall be brought to the officership for judgement.
- Captured persons must be protected against acts of reprisal and shall be turned over to Alliance High Command as soon as possible.
- It is forbidden to declare that no quarter shall be given.
- Parties to a conflict shall at all times distinguish between combatants and non-combatants. Attacks shall be directed solely against legitimate military targets such as, but not limited to: bases, war camps, convoys, formations, and patrols.

TREAT ALL BEINGS WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT.
USE MINIMUM FORCE TO CARRY OUT THE MISSION.
ALWAYS BE PREPARED TO ACT IN SELF-DEFENSE.
