Faceless, The essential guide to everything Hawkins

Biography:

Aenardron Hawkins was born on a small farm in Southshore, unlike many of the town's residents, Aen's parents were both natives of Lordaeron. Aen's father was a minor knight, and indeed, there was a long tradition of service on his father's side of the family. Aen was a curious and adventerous youth, an image that sometimes clashed with his brother, Torren, a bookish sort. Despite their vastly different interests, Aen and Torn had a close bond, right up to Aen leaving with the Scarlet Crusade. Aen's principle reasoning was to make a difference, and stop the horror before it engulfed his home. Torren was of the opinion that a local guard position would have been better, or perhaps a position in the Stormwind Army, which Aen took as cowardice. the brother fueded, and Aen left. It was at this time he took on the moniker Ironblade.
The Scarlet years were adventerous and bloody. Ironblade came into his own as a soldier, engaging the undead in several battles and many skirmishes. As time went on, Aen became less the fun loving boy and more a ruthless combatant. Savoring his time in the field, Aen seldom spent much time at camp, missing the changes that were seeping into the Crusade. Following the Dawn Debacle, Aen realized the new Crusade's intentions. After a long discussion with his friend Edreal, Aen and a few others deserted, and joined the fledgling Argent Dawn.
Aen preformed a variety of tasks with the Dawn, from raiding Andorhal, to ambushing necromancers en route to Caer Darrow. Prior to the Northrend invasion, Aen even accompanied Edreal to Stormwind, to sway nobles and recruits alike to the thier cause, It was at this time that Aen became aquainted with Count Edreal. Aen was present at the opening of the Dark Portal, and spent some time in Outland. His activities there were of a private nature. Whilst in Icecrown, Ironblade again took to the front lines, leading a small cavalry detachment in a company with Edreal and Grik, an Orc of some small renown. All three were Captains at this point. Aen was present at the Great Siege, but was not among the warriors who felled Arthas.
Following these events Aen joined the Servitors.

The Fact Sheet:

Married, and aged 28, Aen is in his prime, in experience as well as ability. He has a preference for close combat, and has trained in those arts for years, choosing the focus on such rather than the healing arts.

The Hawkins Estate
His house in Surwich is decorated with mementos of each campaign he's fought in. He keeps a large claymore over the bottom fireplace, a gift from his Uncle Antarion, who earned the Ironblade moniker that was adopted as Aen's own name for a time. The decor is Argent grey and white, excepting a small trunk upstairs, which is blood red and contains Aen's helm and sheild from his Scarlet days, as well as an elven pendent. Most of this has however been removed and replaced by his loving wife .The upstairs study featured two work desks, each covered in tools and gemstones, as well as enchanting apparatuses. However Anne saw fit to redo that room to make it Niclaz's bedroom. Anne has really pulled out all the stops for this room. The walls have been painted a mellow sage green, soothing and suitable for boys or girls. The wood floor has been painstakingly sanded, ensuring no little feet will ever pick up a splinter, and varnished to a high gloss of honeyed wood. A large oval rag rug in shades of green and rust provides warmth and a ready made play field all in one.

Two beds reside in the room, both cleverly mounted on casters so that they might be pushed together. A book shelf sits but half full, with enough books to keep a child infatuated for a while, yet leaving plenty of room for growth. The current titles range from treatises on the Light to children's primers to richly illustrated tales of derring-do, where the knights are always chivalrous, and the ladies are always beautiful.

Upon Niclaz's bed is a stuffed toy. Covered in soft velvet, with real horsehair for mane and tail, the toy is in the shape of a knight's charger. Stuffed in sawdust, it is sweet smelling and sturdy enough to hold one of the tin soldiers, yet soft enough to be a comfort in the night. Tin soldiers of every shape and speciality are lined up in their box, ready to be called into action. Nic's tabard, when not being worn, is hung on the end of his bed, where he might look at it. Best fo all, his bed is near enough to the window to allow him to look out over the yard and into the stables below.

(And, should Alaine ever come visit)

Alaine's bed is more feminine, but decked in the same soft sheets of white and mint. She also has bookshelves, as well as a small writing desk stocked with fine papers, parchments, and even vellum. Ink pots line the top edge, labeled and sorted by colour. Her wardrobe contains a few sensible gowns, the very thing a young page would wear. And nestled in the back (and waiting for Mena to say it's okay to give her) is a replica gown of Philomene's red and gold, but tailored precisely for Alaine's form
Aen keeps two gryphons and a small stable of horses at Surwich, which froms the core of his horsebreeding business. He was and remains in his element in the cavalry, and is an accomplished rider and flyer.
