Landings on new worlds were both great, and terrible, usually at the same time. Wild life would usually stay away from the Genedar as it set down but if the planet had sentient, or semi-sentient species they would usually be drawn out of curiosity. Curiosity that many times turned to hostility rather quickly. The Draenei were, after all, settlers on land, or rather, entire worlds, which weren't theirs to claim. This landing was a rather special landing. Today, was the first of many landings where Iz would be among the first line of Vindicators to disembark and make sure the immediate area was secure and the Ragnari could deploy to scout a wider area.

When the gates of the Genedar opened the battalion of Vindicators and heavy warriors found themselves completely immersed in the densest fog Izarre had ever known. It was so thick that she couldn't see two inches in front of her. So dense she could practically feel like she was walking through a bog. All around them they could hear the strange, sometimes beautiful, sometimes threatening sounds of a new world. Sounds, that no matter how beautiful they sounded could bring death with them. The unit kept a tight formation as they slowly, and carefully advanced, getting a feel for the terrain under their hooves and the sounds around them. Sounds swirled around them, sometimes growing threateningly close, sometimes in the distance. The terrain slopped gently upwards and the unit followed the slope, hoping to make their way out of the fog and sure enough they eventually came out of the fog and into the Light.

The view was magnificent. The Genedar poked out of the fog like a mountain and scattered rays of light thought the valley they had landed in. The dense fog covered the valley floor like a sea of white and beyond it, stretched magnificent plains, as far as the eye could see. Herds of animals no one had ever seen roamed the plains and glided through the sky above them. It was a beautiful, untouched world. Izarre gazed out over the beauty of creation and smiled, knowing true peace for the first time in many years.
