I want to point out that every element that makes a character interesting--basic personality, goals, limitations, solutions--is internal. The only external item in the article is "complications."

Great article, Prikka.  Thanks for sharing…this is something we can all benefit from, in making new characters and remembering what makes our old characters come to life.
